Recently Clowns at Party California co-owner Doodlebug was chosen from the care givers at the Peel Halton Dufferin Brain Injury Services to attend the Neurobehavioral Rehabilitation in Acquired Brain Injury Convention in Hamilton, Ontario.

Every brain injury is unique requiring specialized care. A brain injury is called "the invisible disability" which sometimes is the hardest issue to deal with for some people who have an acquired brain injury.

It is very difficult for some people to know how to respond to people with acquired brain injuries as it may not be something they are familiar with and they may be lost for words and just not know what to do or say.

Doodlebug's speciality in clowning is bringing joy to people with disabilities through face painting, balloons and fun pocket magic. Another passion is learning to play her ukelele so everyone can sing along to silly songs.

Doodlebug is in her element taking the time with each individual getting them to smile and laugh, forgetting their cares.

Doodlebug ❤️'s clowning for the Easter Seal Kids with the Rotary Club, Peel Halton Dufferin Acquired Brain Injury Services clients and the Abilities Expo was one of my favourite trade shows to face paint at in Mississauga.

The area Doodlebug loves to face paint and clown around in is Mississauga, Oakville,

Milton, Etobicoke, Georgetown, Caledon, Orangeville.....Peel and Halton.

Eyes light up with a big smile.

That is when Doodlebug knows she have the best job in the world !
